Amy and Richard Anacker recently opened the Burnt Coil Vape Shop at 203 East Washington Street in Hartford City. The shop carries a wide variety of products to meet the needs of those who vape.

Amy and Richard Anacker recently opened the Burnt Coil Vape Shop at 203 East Washington Street in Hartford City. The shop carries a wide variety of products to meet the needs of those who vape.

For years, Richard and Amy Anacker worked in a local factory. The couple was growing tired of the daily grind. One day, Amy had a bad experience at a smoke shop in Muncie. This led to a discussion where the idea of opening up their own shop came about. There aren’t many places around here that sell vaping products, leading many to travel to Muncie or other such communities to find what they need. The couple began asking around the community to see what sort of a response the idea would get.

They decided to bite the bullet and give it a try. The shop was a few weeks away from opening when the exterior wall of the building in which the shop was located collapsed. “It was scary,” said Amy. “Luckily, no one was hurt,” added Richard. “We soon realized that the owner of the building was not likely to do anything and began looking for a new location,” the couple continued.

“We spent several months remodeling the shop. Amy and I have done most of the work ourselves. We’ve been open for a few weeks now, and have had a pretty good response so far,” said Richard.

“We really like meeting our customers,” said Amy. “We pride ourselves on our customer service,” added Richard. “If there is a product that a customer wants, we will do our best to get it for them,” he continued. “We carry a wide variety of products to cover all of your vaping needs,” said Amy. “Including many flavors not carried by other shops,” she continued.

Burnt Coil is located at 203 East Washington Street in Hartford City. They are open from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM on Monday through Saturday, and from noon until 5:00 PM on Sunday.
