While her dreams of winning the 2022 U.S. Open have been crushed, Naomi Osaka is still living a real-life real estate fantasy. Yesterday, the New York Post reported that the 24-year-old Japanese tennis pro is currently touring for-sale New York City condos priced up to $6 million, and now records reveal Osaka has successfully flipped the very first home she ever purchased — a strikingly angular and contemporary residence in Los Angeles.

The off-market deal was inked in late August, with Osaka receiving $8.7 million for the property — a substantial profit over the $6.9 million she paid three years ago, when she bought the house from pop music star Nick Jonas. The spendy new owner is Bosnian-born tech entrepreneur Milun Tesovic, 37, a partner at Uber co-founder Garrett Camp‘s Expa venture capital fund.

This isn’t the only expensive L.A. home owned by Tesovic. Less than two years ago, he paid $9.6 million for a Hollywood Hills mansion sold by Nile Niami, and previously owned by Scooter Braun. That property is currently listed for rent, asking a whopping $85,000/month.

As for the former Osaka residence, it’s tucked deep into the mountains above Beverly Hills, in a neighborhood known as Beverly Hills Post Office. Originally built in 1965 but completely reconstructed and expanded in 2016 by acclaimed architectural firm SPACE International and design team Ground Up LA, the 3,000-square-foot main structure sprawls over its half-acre hillside lot, offering three bedrooms and four bathrooms.

Eye-catching amenities include high ceilings and clerestory windows throughout the home. Exotic materials abound; the bespoke interior cabinetry and exterior decking and siding are all hewn from imported South American hardwood. Imported hematite and basaltina stone graces the entryway and the living room fireplace, while the sleek kitchen offers a full set of premium Miele appliances.

Wall of disappearing glass doors spill out to a flat backyard with a grassy lawn and a swimming pool hugged by a wooden deck. There’s also a one-bed, one-bath guesthouse with a gym seemingly cantilevered over the canyon below, and backyard views take in the rugged surrounding hills. Naturally, the entire property is walled, gated and protected by an elaborate security system.

Osaka has moved from the mountains of the 90210 to the San Fernando Valley, where earlier this year she shelled out $6.3 million for Nick Lachey’s big Tarzana estate. For the last several years, she’s been the highest-paid woman in sports worldwide, earning $53.2 million over the past year alone from her myriad endorsement deals with major brands such as Louis Vuitton, Nissan, Nike, Mastercard, Levi’s, Panasonic, Google and Sweetgreen.
