Featuring 20 limited-edition colours, the range will save 60,000 litres of raw materials going to waste.

Little Greene has launched an upcycled paint collection made from leftover, damaged and returned paints.

Tackling the issue of unwanted stock, the 'Re:mix' range features 20 limited-edition matte colours for interior walls and ceilings produced from remixed paint. From bone china blue to a gorgeous sage green, the new range will save around 60,000 litres of raw materials from going to waste each year.

In order to produce the upcycled paints, chemists at Little Greene developed clever blending techniques, creating individual batches as part of the initial launch. Whether it's returned paints that can't be sold or tester pots, each new colour is a unique blend of old paints that would otherwise be binned.

'It's fantastic to be able to offer a collection that allows us to recycle our precious raw materials, and tackle the issue of unwanted stock, whilst providing a beautiful palette that includes many of Little Greene's most treasured colours, enabling customers to make sustainable and eco-friendly decorating choices for their home,' Ruth Mottershead, Creative Director, at Little Greene says.

Much like Little Greene's other popular colours, the Re:mix range does not test on animals, avoids using materials that contain animal derivatives, and uses only naturally-occurring minerals and negligible odour.

'Our water-based paints far exceed all legislation on VOCs and the oil-based paints have been formulated to use naturally occurring vegetable oils. As an independent, family business, we have the flexibility to make decisions based on what's right for the environment, and not just what's good for business.'

The Re:mix collection is available to buy now from Little Greene. Happy decorating!
