ilm buffs know that the spell of a great movie lasts long after you’ve left the cinema.

A great plotline paired with a killer soundtrack and the sort of dialogue you’ll mentally file to quote on the daily can stay with you forever.

Movie posters have always been teenage-level decorating attempts, the first ways we made our mark on our rooms. Readers of a certain vintage may remember the high street novelty shop Athena, which sold a variety of full-size posters of the latest blockbusters in the 90s. You could always find a decent selection at the back of HMV and many cinemas would give you their surplus display posters if you asked nicely.

One of the greatest film trilogies ever made (and thankfully, one that won’t suffer the scourge of a remake thanks to a director’s clause), Back to the Future is as much a tale about love, fate and friendship as it is about a time-travelling DeLorean.

The Scottish black comedy that launched the careers of some of the finest actors in the UK (Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller, Robert Carlyle, Kelly McDonald and more), there are few movie buffs who haven’t seen Danny Boyle’s 1996 cult classic Trainspotting.

While most posters focus on the hilariously vile toilet scene or infants crawling across ceilings during Renton’s heroin cold turkey, Redbubble’s iteration uses creative illustration to offer a vibe of the movie that’s PG13 enough to have hanging on display.
